Generous Vehicle Donation to Donisthorpe Hall in Leeds
27 June 2016
We are very pleased to announce that we have successfully delivered a shiny new wheelchair accessible vehicle to Donisthorpe Hall in Leeds. This is the second vehicle O&H have delivered to the care home.
Donisthorpe Hall is a Jewish residential nursing home based in Leeds, they took delivery of their first vehicle, a Renault Master from O&H in 2010 and had such positive feedback from the residents that they felt that now was a good time to invest in a newer Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle with a larger capacity. The first vehicle was dedicated to Samuel Gitlic, following a generous donation. This new VW Crafter delivered by Sales Manger, Ian Schofield (pictured, left) was purchased through the generosity of the Burton family. They hope the new vehicle will allow more residents than ever to enjoy days out. VW Crafters can accommodate up to 17 passengers including the driver or four wheelchair users. The first outing is likely to be a visit to the pretty market town, Skipton. Candace Grant, Social Care manager at Donisthorpe Hall explained, "We are absolutely delighted at the arrival of the new minibus and our huge thanks and appreciation go to the Burton family for their very wonderful and continued support which helps to enrich the lives of all the residents here at our home."
