Our NHS Training vehicles are designed to facilitate the efficient training of a paramedic’s vehicle handling skills in emergency and non-emergency situations. The vehicles also ensure that the crew is familiar with the vehicles functionality and medical equipment. These vehicles are primarily used for training purposes but can also be deployed for use in emergency situations.
These vehicles are designed to have a layout closely resembling a fully functional A&E vehicle. The bulkhead is cutaway to create increased road visibility for the trainees. There is a VDU screen and on-board recording system to record the driver’s performance and assist with playback for tutorials.
Designed specifically for driver training purposes only, the vehicle is electrically similar to an A&E specification. Exact features are individually tailored to suit each Trusts specific requirements.
We ensure that all our NHS Training Vehicle conversions meet the vigorous CEN standards and the European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) when necessary.
