O&H Paramedic Practitioner Vehicles (PPV’s) are designed to respond to patients who require pre-hospital emergency medical care, whilst providing the highest possible safety standards for the patient, personnel and other road users.
Our PPV vehicles are converted to Emergency Specification and divided into three separate compartments: the Crew area to the front, Patient assessment, transport and treatment area in the centre with equipment storage area to the rear.
The patient assessment area has 3 seats: 2 patient treatment and transportation seats, fitted against the rear bulkhead. These are forward facing, covered with antibacterial, microbiological fabric with both seats incorporate a 3 point fixing seatbelt. The third seat is a tip up seat to be used by the practitioner when attending to the patient.
Our PPV’s are fitted with a high quality power management system to support all electrics and provide an emergency start facility. The battery system consists of two batteries with a fail-safe/ emergency starting system activated from the 2nd/ auxiliary battery. The batteries are protected with a volt drop protector to 11.5V and also have external charging.
We ensure that all our Paramedic Practitioner Vehicle conversions meet the vigorous CEN standards and the European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) when necessary.
